Day 89: Mostar, Bosnia

Morning in the van.

No picture - after three attempts at a border crossing, we finally find somewhere that we can enter Bosnia.

The Bosnian mountain roads testing the van..

Mostar's old aircraft hanger.

It looked dark, we didn't hang around..

Mostar!

Stari Most - built in the 16th century, destroyed during war in 1993 & rebuilt in 2004.

Call to prayer.

A traditional Bosnian lunch: Ćevapi. We were told it was the only thing you could order! Lucky it was delicious :)

Koskin-Mehmed Pasha's Mosque.

Back through town, it got very wet..

Some remaining scars from conflict.

Shelter with a beverage.

The rain came down in sheets; cold and wet we decided that was enough outdoor fun for one day. Luckily, we stumbled upon The Black Dog Pub with friendly faces & fire!

All the aces, 12 in pegging! What are the odds?

Back to the van for a quick spot of food.

Back to the pub for an evening of live music.

Black Welvet & all the other classics..
